“Awaken in the LIght” is based on the three levels of Bardo Thodol from the “Tibetan Book of the Dead.” Written in the 8th century it mirrors what we now know as NDE, or the “Near Death Experience” something many people today have upon dying. “The Book of the Dead” isn’t negative, but rather a book of life and how to live right and good. In the times that we are in right now, we need clarity on how to approach life before our transformation. This song celebrates life and the 3 levels of knowledge.
